39th Annual L’Esprit de Noël Holiday Home Tour
Returns to the Historic Denver Country Club Neighborhood
Central City Opera Guild members are already hard at work on the 39th Annual L’Esprit de Noël Holiday Home Tour. This year, five distinctive homes in the historic Denver Country Club neighborhood will be beautifully decorated for the holiday season by some of the area’s finest floral and tabletop designers. L’Esprit was last in this neighborhood in 2003 and it was among our most successful tours.
This area was first developed as a residential neighborhood in the early 1900s following the establishment of the Denver Country Club. The earliest homes were built on Franklin Street, by some of the most renowned architects working in Denver at the time. Our tour will feature some of these historic homes, which have been updated for modern family lifestyles.
Floral and Table Designers returning to L’Esprit will be Celebrated Gatherings, City Floral, Flower Power, Hutch & Fig, The Twisted Tulip, The Lark and Swank Stems. New to the tour this year will be The Stationery Company, owned by Lin Logan, a Guild member. Her tabletop design will show how homeowners can set a beautiful table with paper dinnerware – a great idea for the busy holiday hostess.
Mark your calendars for L’Esprit de Noël: Public tours will be Friday, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This year, the Patron Party will be held on Friday evening, November 20th, with party attendees touring the homes between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. A cocktail party and light dinner buffet will follow at the Denver Country Club. There will be no boutique associated with L’Esprit this year, as there was not an appropriate facility nearby.
